Has managing your emotions become an uphill battle leading you to feel frustrated, overwhelmed, and exhausted?

Maybe you feel like emotions are running your life or there is just too much on your plate yet you can’t seem to slow down to find any relief. You may be experiencing more negtive thoughts or simply feeling like you’re going crazy! Perhaps you’re feeling alone and deperate for something to change.

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:

  • Struggling to regulate your emotions

  • Lacking focus or motivation to get started on tasks

  • Finding you’re quick to lash out or getting irritated more than usual

 Therapy for anxiety can help.

How therapy works

It may feel impossible now, but you can get back in the driver seat of your life. You can create the change you desire. You can learn ways to manage your stress effectively.

I will help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to anxiety comes from a place of understanding and belief, that together we can help you navigate these difficult emotions so you feel balanced and back in control of your life.

There is no easy button when it comes to learning new skills however, I will be your biggest cheerleader encouraging and supporting you along this journey. At times I may provide you with education around the mind-body connection to enhance your ability to understand yourself on a deeper level. Other times, we may practice grounding activities or breathing exercises together to be sure you have a clear grasp of what I’m teaching you.

I’m not typically someone who “assigns” homework outside of therapy but when it comes to anxiety, research continuously demonstrates that the best results come from consistency and practice. Therefore, I will encourage you to practice what you learn outside of the office but nothing that will cut into your normal routine. The idea is to cut back on stress and not add to it!

If you’re tired of feeling trapped by your emotions, paralyzed by decisions, or perhaps just overwhelmed, then it is time to take control and make yourself a priority.
